Buying a new home is probably the biggest investment most of us will ever make. It should also be one of our most exciting and satisfying life experiences, if we do it right. The HomePro office is exceptionally well organized and efficient; but most importantly- personable.
Hopefully our reputation precedes us. You will experience our professionalism firsthand when contacting HomePro to schedule an inspection. Our scheduling secretary will gather all of the information. She contacts the listing agent to secure access and sends out confirming emails to buyers, realtors, the wood destroying insect inspector, etc. Buyers then receive a copy of the ASHI Standard of Practice and the home inspection contract. If the buyer cannot attend the contract can be signed electronically. HomePro accepts credit cards. The listing agent receives an explanation for the sellers on “How to Prepare Your Home for the Home Inspection.”
HomePro strongly encourages buyers to accompany the inspector during the inspection. This will give you a chance to ask questions and become familiar with the systems of the home. It is best to see the items firsthand and ask questions along the way. After all a home inspection is an education about the house and its current condition. If a client is unable to attend, the contract can be signed electronically and service may be paid with a credit card.
The home inspection is an unbiased, professional assessment of the condition of the house based upon visibly accessible signs and symptoms of problems. It provides a professional opinion and written report on the condition of the physical structure and various systems and components within a house. In order to prepare the report, an inspector must conduct a visual inspection which typically takes about 2 to 3 hours to complete.
The day after the home inspection, the report is proofread and the final copy is emailed to the client and agent. An attachment on “How to perform the Pre-settlement walk through” is included. If the radon levels are elevated the listing agent will be emailed the names of three local remediation companies.
Most importantly, our entire staff is always here to work with you- before, during and after the inspection- to help make the home inspection a useful and positive experience.
Not all home inspections are the same and at HomePro, we believe that service truly does make the difference.

The service only stops when you stop calling.
